The Gorman Rupp Industries (GRI) model # 15670-001 is a Magnetic Drive Centrifugal Pump coupled to a 1/20 Horsepower, 115 Volt, Single Phase Motor.
This pump has a performance range up to 3.5 gpm and a maximum head up to 5.5 feet.
The plastic housing separates the motor drive magnet from the fluid being pumped. Leaks caused by shaft seal failure are eliminated.
The end result is a more efficient seal-less centrifugal pump that will not leak and is capable of achieving up to 50 thousand hours of continuous duty operation.
These GRI Centrifugal pumps are designed to transfer both corrosive and non-corrosive fluids at maximum hydraulic efficiencies. GRI Mag-Drive Centrifugal pumps are not self-priming and must be used in applications where a flooded suction exists.
These pumps cannot be run dry. To allow for optimum life the Maximum Fluid Temperature for this mag drive pump is up to 203 degrees F (95 degrees C).
